AirRated named as finalist in the Property Awards 2023 for the Health and Wellbeing Initiative – Commercial Property category

The annual Property Awards, organised by Property Week, is just around the corner and brings together the key players in the commercial property market, including developers, entrepreneurs, investors, financiers and agencies. Now in its 28th year, AirRated, alongside Legal and General Investment Management (LGIM) have been shortlisted in the health and wellbeing – commercial property category for their work in rolling out certifications across 1.25 million sq ft. of LGIM commercial space.

The health and wellbeing award aims to celebrate the organisation or individual that has done the most in the past year to support the health and well-being of staff, occupiers or the local community.

The judges were looking for an exemplary initiative, scheme or project that has raised the bar in terms of health and well-being. Working in partnership to create workplaces that better support the health and productivity of its occupiers through improved indoor air quality, 1.25 million sq. ft of LGIM portfolio is AirScore certified and undertaking “Monthly AirScore” analysis, with One Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester now the UK’s highest scoring AirScore building.

The partnership between AirRated and LGIM has also led to multiple occupiers within LGIM properties to also seek certification as well as ENRA Specialist Finance Management earning the recently launched AirScore 365 award, awarded to organisations who demonstrate best-practice indoor air quality monitoring and performance over 12 months.

You can find out more about the awards on June 13th here.
