AirRated was formally launched in March 2020 and, to date, has won over 3.5 million sq. ft. of project work in both residential and commercial sectors. As part of the AirRatedTM team, our Commercial Manager will have a varied, valuable role within the business. As we are a young start-up we are looking for a driven, talented individual with a background in operations and people development to join a start-up environment.
You will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the Company, and often handling the company’s internal affairs, and including inward / outward-facing communication.
You will be a proactive, well-organised, enthusiastic and confident self starter who can really make the role their own. This candidate will show pride in their work and be proactive in taking on responsibility and ownership over tasks and projects. Responsibilities
- Working alongside the CEO and Board Members, driving growth and taking ownership of the company’s growth strategy develop into deliverable goals, through the implementation of OKRs (Objective and Key Results) and goals, and monitor their performance
- Working with the CEO on their long-term creative vision, applying this in actionable goals, frameworks, and processes.
- Oversee the day to day execution of tasks required to deliver the AirRated solution to its customers
- Drive continuous improvement across the AirRated business to drive greater revenue and improved profitability within our product lines
- Identify ongoing efficiencies that can be implemented within the business, through use of automation, outsourcing and other techniques
- Ensure all cross business systems operate smoothly and align with our standards – driving excellence in all that we do
- Oversee the data gathering process for monthly board reports
- Ensure our projects database is populated with up-to-date information and work to optimise the database, in line with scaling
- Manage the continuous development of our recertification and accredited professionals programmes.
- Overseeing and analysing budgets, including presentation of reports, findings, and action plans.
- Minimising impact on the business by foreseeing potential issues, and proactively problem solving.
- Identify & implement, through analysis and subject matter expertise, process improvements across the operation of the business
- Analyse and present opportunities for growth to the AirRated board and CEO, driving successful ideas from ideation to execution
- Manage inter-departmental communication. Support the various departments, drive visibility and guide them toward efficiency.
- Managing talent and hiring, including training, development, and on-boarding.
- Setting and supporting KPIs and development goals for the team that drive individual and company growth.
Relevant Experience
- Proven experience within an operations/data/BA role in a fast-paced environment with a lean team
- Experience with business reporting and goal setting, preferably using the OKR methodology
- Highly numerate with a strong analytical ability
- A strong understanding of budgets, planning and forecasts.
- Highly organised, an excellent multi-tasker, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Leadership and mentoring ability whilst still being hands-on and a real team player.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g HubSpot, Salesforce), Google Suite and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)

- The role has a broad scope of business functions and requires someone who is easily adaptable and communicates effectively with key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including executive and C-level.
